Light Contact Continuous Sparring

Held at Dodge Jones Sports Center
1042 Loop 322, Abilene TX

Ages 3 – 4 start at 9:30am
Ages 5 – 7 start at 11:00am
Ages 8 – 12 start at 1:00pm
Ages 13 & up start at 3:00pm

Pre-Registration Fee: 2 Events $70.00
Spectators: $15.00 (ages 4 & under are FREE)
Late Registration Fee of $10 (after March 1st, 2024)

Divisions

Beginner: (Less than 9 months of training. Usually white, yellow & orange belts)
Intermediate: (9-18 months of training. Usually purple, blue & green belts)
Advance: (Over 18 months of training. Usually brown, red & black belts)

ALL DIVISIONS ages 5 and older are separated by age, experience and weight. The more competitors that register, the more divisions we can create.

EVENTS

Ninja Obstacle Course Challenge (ages 3 – 4)

• Fastest times win, using listening and motor skill agility.

Flag Sparring (ages 3 – 4 & 5 – 7)

• Point scored when flag is pulled first, 45 second round.

Kickboxing Sparring

• Gear – PMA Uniform, big boxing gloves, shin / Instep guards, headgear, mouthpiece and (groin protection for males ages 8 & up)
• Single Elimination – Kids = 1 1/2 Minutes | Teens & Adults = 2 Minutes
• Legal – Strikes to head, body and legs with control.
• Illegal – Hard contact, excessive face contact, groin contact, elbows, knees and unsportsman-like conduct
• Winner / Disqualifications – Majority decision of 3 judges

BJJ Grappling

• Gear – PMA Uniform, mouthpiece and (groin protection for males)
• Single Elimination – Kids = 2 Minutes | Teens & Adults = 3 Minutes
• 2 Submission Automatic Win – No striking, no finger or wrist locks, no knee bars, heel hooks or toe holds
• No submission for ages 5 – 7, beginner start on knees, intermediate / advance start standing
• Winner / Disqualifications – unless a 2-submission win occurs, match will be decided by majority decision of 3 judges
